Bulb planting on the Tudor Drive and Stonecot Hill Junction continues

Lower Morden

Your Labour Action Team is dedicated to enhancing our community’s green spaces through bulb planting. Thou sands of budding bulbs have been planted in King Georges Playing Fields and Morden Park. We planted daffodils in large planters, then took crocuses and the cutting from our very own gardens because we knew we needed drought resistant plants. We hope that everyone will enjoy these flowers throughout the spring. As your local Labour councillors, we went one step further and gained funding to install three benches in King Georges, enabling everyone to sit and enjoy the budding flowers and greenery. Your Labour Action Team will always go the extra mile to provide the very best for our residents.

Bulb planting is an important part of our work as your local representatives. If you want to join in with us, and help to make our community better, please email us at james.williscroft@merton.gov.uk or sally.kenny@merton.gov.uk.

We’d love to involve and include you in our community work.
