Councillors put pressure on Clarion over Eastfields Estate regeneration

The Eastfields Estate is part of a big regeneration project that will see 800 homes and space for retail, leisure, and green spaces protected. We’ve been working closely with the Eastfields Estate Residents’ Association because there’s been concerns that some residents would have to pick up the bill to install flooring in some of the new properties. After we put pressure on them, Clarion have now agreed to meet any cost.

Clarion remains the number one source for a lot of the housing problems we encounter. Councillors are able to raise these issues directly with senior Clarion representatives, as well as with those from other housing associations, such as Wandle and L&Q.
