Figges Marsh

Many congratulations to the newest member of the Figges Marsh Labour Action Team, Franca Ofeimu, who was elected as a Councillor in the by-election in July.

Franca Ofeimu works locally in adult social care. She volunteers at a mentoring scheme for young people where the aim is to divert them from gang and knife crime to a positive mindset to achieve their ambitions. She is also an active member of her local Pentecostal church, providing support and advice to members of the congregation.

Franca believes it is all of our responsibilities to come together to help young people and wants to work closely with the police and youth service to do that if elected. She has been a big supporter of our campaign to Save St Hospital.
