New sports equipment comes to Ravensbury Park

Ravensbury

As your local Labour councillors we know that our green spaces and recreation grounds are a core part of our community. They became especially precious to us during the COVID-19 lockdowns. That is why we are delighted that your Labour councillors have secured approval for a green gym and a table tennis table in our local Ravensbury Park.

We have met with and worked with the Chair of the Friends Group Sophie Goard to discuss the importance of free sports equipment in our park. The green gym will mean residents can improve fitness activity through free and available access to our secured gym. As your local Labour Action Team we will always champion Merton as a borough of sport, keep an eye out for the upcoming gym in Ravensbury Park.

If you want to join in with us, and help to make our community better, contact your local councillors at stephen.alambritis@merton.gov.uk and peter.mccabe@merton.gov.uk

We’d love to involve and include you in our community work.
