Report fly tipping to the Council - and we’ll clear it away
We know that the problems of refuse collection, street-sweeping and fly tipping have caused concern in many of our neighbourhoods. The Council do all they can to help keep our streets tidy, but after years of cuts to public services under the Tory Government their resources are stretched.
Residents have a role to play in their communities by reporting problems and suggesting improvements. The Labour-run Merton Council has made this easier by adopting the Fix My Street site. There, you can report any signs of fly tipping in your area and the Council will send a van to collect the rubbish.
Please do report any fly tipping you are aware of to the Council through the Fix My Street app or via fixmystreet.merton.gov.uk. If there are any particular areas impacted by regular fly tipping do get in touch with your local Labour Action Team so that we can try and help get the issue dealt with.
