Local councillors bring new additions to King George’s Playing Field

Lower Morden 

This year we applied for a grant to install 6 more park benches in King George’s Playing Field. 3 are in the children’s playground area and 3 are around the top field. It is great to see them being used throughout the year, but especially in the warmer weather as people take a seat in the park to enjoy the surroundings. Local people are increasingly using the park and it is lovely for us all to take a seat when we wish.

We also have had 6 bird boxes installed, one at the entrance for Aragon Road and the others amongst the trees. Most are for small birds to we look forward to a chirpy spring.
