Pop up tip arrives in Pollards Hill

As your Labour Action Team we know our residents find it difficult to access the main tip on Garth Road in Lower Morden. For many it is just too far away and provides a real challenge to get to. That is why your Labour run Council is piloting a new mobile tip.

Pollards Hill was the first area to experience this service with it taking place at the New Horizon Centre. Neighbours used it to dispose of various items, including excess household rubbish, recycling, green waste, and bulky items. It was a huge success with over 6 tonnes of waste collected, which is equivalent to an adult African elephant.
