New Bins at Mitcham Parish Church

Cricket Green

For years, Mitcham Parish Church’s historic graveyard, home to Listed War Graves, struggled with litter. With too few bins, volunteer parishioners worked tirelessly to keep it clean—until now. New bins are in place, and the transformation is incredible.

A review of the Council’s service agreement has enhanced upkeep, ensuring the space stays tidy, pruned, and blooming. Now, cherry blossoms flourish, hedges are neat, and the graveyard is a beautiful, peaceful haven for all to enjoy. A true labour of love, finally paying off.
