The Council has been running an information campaign across the borough after a fire started at the Garth Road Waste Centre in Lower Morden, which was suspected to have started due to a disposable vape or an e-cigarette.

Vapes become extremely flammable when crushed. Please help keep others safe, and get rid of your vapes by taking them back where you bought them or at designated recycling point, and find out more at veolia.co.uk/dangerous-waste
