Merton Council introduces over-65s swim free

Mitcham & Morden

Merton’s Labour Council has launched an ambitious plan to become London’s Borough of Sport. We want to improve the health and wellbeing of residents in the borough with a special focus on over-65s and under-16s.

We introduced ‘Kids Swim Free’, where under-16s can swim FREE at Merton Council’s leisure centres all year round. And now we are giving over-65s the chance to swim for FREE during the week too. As long as you book ahead, any child under 16 and any adult over 65 can have FREE swimming sessions at any of The Canons, Morden and Wimbledon leisure centres.

Book at: www.merton.gov.uk/over65sswimfree. Your local leisure centre is the Morden Leisure Centre which is located at London Road, Morden, SM4 5HE. Over-65s can swim FREE on Thursdays from 10am-midday.
